Martin took early retirement from our Partner the Vale of White Horse District Council in 2005 where part of his duties was to advise the Trust in fundraising matters. On retirement he unwisely agreed to continue in a voluntary capacity and wrote the bids that funded the new connection with the Thames, Jubilee Junction. As a consequence he also project managed the construction in 2006 as well as driving a 12-tonne Volvo dump truck! He is now tempering his home DIY activities with those of the Trust. |
