Swindon Branch have submitted a request for funding to NatWest Community Force project. The application is for funds to transform the Kingshill section of the canal into a more beautiful and safer environment.

The towpath is eroding and the banks of the canal are in poor condition. We need to stabilise the bank by piling, filling in and levelling the towpath. It will enable the surface to be improved and the path widened. |

How to Vote :
We need votes to get to the top of the list in the Swindon area, so here are some hints to help you vote.
Firstly you need to register with your email address.
To register go to the home page of the Community Force website http://communityforce.NatWest.com/ then click Register in the top right-hand corner.
When registering the site asks you to choose a password - this is a password just for this site, so you can pick anything, but don't use your e-mail password.
After you submit your registration at the bottom of the page they will thank you for registering and then send you an email to confirm your address.
Once you get the e-mail click on the link "Confirm your registration". This confirmation causes a new window to open.
Log in (top right corner), then enter you e-mail address and password on the following screen.
The easiest way to find our project is then copy this link into your web browser, or click it: http://communityforce.NatWest.com/project/3910
You should then be presented with Wilts & Berks Canal Trust project page and you should still be logged in.
Then click box accepting "terms and conditions" and finally click Vote for us
