The Cricklade Branch covers the area shown in the map below. It has some tricky engineering challenges ahead and the connection to the Thames to negotiate. The Cricklade Branch may be at the forefront of the next major phase of development.

The Cricklade Branch meets at the Bell Inn, Purton Stoke at 7.45pm on the third Tuesday of each month. Local branch officials can be found here.

Regular work parties are organised on a Sunday morning.

New members are always welcome at the Branch whether you live in this particular area or further afield.

The North Wilts Canal as a navigation covers both Swindon and Cricklade branches.

The Cricklade Country Way is a project we hope to deliver with our partners. This is intended to link Swindon and Cricklade by restoring the North Wilts Canal. See a brief video detailing the scheme here.
