A long letter makes a number of objections to the Swindon Canal scheme. 1 The modern construction needed will not particularly encourage wild life. 2 Other rivers in the town are used as rubbish dumps. 3 We are not shown properly what is on offer. 4 Contrary to claims, it must take council taxpayers money.
