 A highly illustrated 5 page article reports from the former Chairman of the Birmingham Canal nagigation society encouraging the Swindon plans. A feature encouraging visitors would mean £52m well spent. Fears of littering & dumping in the canal could be tacked by good management. A picture is shown of Faringdon Rd on the proposed canal route and an impression of Westcott Place under the scheme.
