National Service and TA. Commission in Royal Engineers

Divisional Engineer with Kent River Authority. Construction and Maintenance of sea walls, land drainage works, flood management and river navigations.

Wessex Water Authority. Principal Engineer. Contract/Project management for water supply, land drainage, pumping stations and other works.

Canal interest goes back to 1950's Thames and Medway canal, member of IWA since 1962, Kennet & Avon CT. 1974, WBCT 2006.
Asst. Hon. Engineer KACT from 1975, Hon. Engineer 1990 to date.
Involved with all Engineering aspects of the K&A restoration, Member of the HLF Project team.

The Wilts and Berks canal is of particular interest as there are a large number of engineering works to be undertaken, particularly the Melksham link.
