I have recently taken early retirement from a corporate career in senior management to pursue my keen interest in boats, (sailing and canals) as well as cycling. This includes Scottish Mountain Bike Leader Award and leading cycle groups as well as working as a Sailing Consultant.

I have 25 years experience of managing complex Telecoms and IT projects and programmes, which combined with experience in project contract and finance management, provide good skills to take on most projects.

I have a Degree in Engineering as well being a PRINCE2 practitioner.

I am a keen sailor, RYA/DoT qualified skipper. I have been sailing and canal boating since I was 8 (44 years ago!)

I have always loved and been fascinated by canals and watched the K&A restoration with admiration. I very much want to see the W&B restored, with boats, walkers and cyclists using this great asset.

I feel I can lead a team, which will deliver and manage the W&B boat trips to a professional and IWA approved standard.
