This Bank Holiday Monday, the Trust's Royal Wootton Bassett Branch is opening a pop up cafe with refreshments and an information tent beside the Studley Grange section of the canal beside the bridge in Bincknoll Lane, post code SN4 8QR. It'll be open from 10am to 4pm. We hope to be trialling our new card machine, but please bring cash too just in case!
These photos were taken in winter 2017, before the newly restored section was fully opened - it's a bit more civilised now! Come along & admire this wonderfully peaceful setting - to find it, take the small road almost opposite the Sally Pussey Inn on the Swindon-RWB road, follow it along for about a mile, over the railway line and the place is about 1/4 mile after that.
