The route shown is intended to indicate the canal corridor as defined by the Local Authority Local Plan or equivalent.
While the Trust aims to restore the canal to a fully operating waterway, no inference is made about ownership or planning consent.
The Trust would wish to emphasise that much of the land is privately owned, and the Trust does not condone trespass on private property.
The Trust would urge anyone wishing to visit the canal to only do so from Public Rights of Way.
