A 20 metre section of the canal’s northern gabion wall at Studley Grange has bulged southwards since Christmas. This displacement is adjacent to the Biffa landfill site at Studley Grange. The Trust’s engineers have been studying aerial photography of the site to make an informed analysis of the cause of this movement and have kept Biffa informed accordingly.
