Royal Wootton Bassett towpath

I am very pleased to report that, thanks to the Landowner we will soon be updating the towpath through Harris Croft. Work starts on Wednesday 1st December 2021, where we will do everything we can to provide a path which is useable 365 days a year, well signposted and securely fenced through the privately owned land. As a group we will do everything we can to support our landowners and I will personally oversee this project.

 

Our other breakthroughs include the newly built Biffa footpath which connects the Studley Grange canal section to the garden centre near J16. Thanks to our work party, work is now complete on the final steps and safety rails. We are planning an official opening soon, so watch this space.
