Volunteers at West Vale

Successful visit from Thames Water and Arval

West Vale Branch had a very successful day working with 12 volunteers from Thames Water and 8 from Arval at Shrivenham. The teams worked really hard in blistering heat and cleared a significant amount of undergrowth that had gotten out of hand during covid.

Jessica Eley from Thames Water wrote "Thank you so much for such a great day yesterday. We all really enjoyed it even though some of us are aching a little today 😊. All your branch volunteers that were there made us feel welcome and supported especially when it came to showing us how to best use the tools."
