RWB Feb report

Royal Wootton Bassett - February activities

The RWB branch February work parties have all been on the private land at Dunnington Farm where we have a licence to work in Winter. All trees in the canal line have now been felled, leaving trees along the towpath hedge-line and along the northern bank. The first photo shows WPO Jon Gregory inspecting the freshly-mown embankment east of Dunnington Aqueduct, while the second shows the newly-cleared north portal of the tunnel under the aqueduct. The Brinkworth Brook flows eventually into the Bristol Avon. Dunnington Aqueduct is on private land and there is no public access.
