Both our smaller boats, Damselfly and The Mary Archard, were at the recent Melksham Food & River Festival where over the three days they did 48 trips and raised over £1,500 subject to confirmation. This was £250 up on last year thanks to slightly more trips and an increase in fares – also better weather and a bigger event; congratulations to the hard-working MCC team, who also had a gazebo there.
Peggy-Sue from the Swindon Branch has completed her 5x walking challenges in aid of the Wilts & Berks Canal Trust.
