The WBCT’s Swindon branch is very proud to announce its new purchase.  A small storage container-type welfare unit has been installed that our volunteer workforce can use on both regular and corporate days.

This lovely piece of kit has been purchased using three funding sources.

Firstly, our income from the Swindon Community Lottery and the White Horse Community Lottery.  Secondly, we received a donation from Swindon’s Front Garden Action Group and thirdly but not lastly, several fun quiz nights boosted the funds.

On the newly-built site in Swindon, the welfare unit is being loaned to our partners at Swindon Borough Council for six months to aid the forthcoming Rushey Platt canal bankside renovations.  Funds raised will be used to purchase an essential second storage container.

Buying community lottery tickets means you are in with a chance of winning a prize and at the same time, helping the charity to buy essential items such as the welfare unit.

Sign up today for the community lottery and select the WBCT as your chosen cause.  Help give Swindon and The Vales a regular income and become a regular winner.  A huge thank you to those who already support us in this way.
