Work Party at Childrey Wharf Section
Jon and his team of volunteers at East Vale & Abingdon have done it again!
The tow path at Childrey Wharf, off New Road to the west of Wantage, was becoming impassable. Jon and his industrious team have cleared the footpaths and vegetation for everyone to enjoy.
If you would like to be a work party volunteer, please contact jon.miles@wbct.org.uk for more information. Training will be given, as well as hard hats and hi-viz tabards. Work parties usually take place every other week on Saturdays.
The good thing about being a volunteer is that you can do as much or little as you want. If you’d like to meet new people and get some light exercise in the fresh air, this may be for you. Everyone is welcome and there’s always plenty to be done.
