We had lots of interest - especially around the work going on at Uffington Gorse and the SESRO reservoir at Abingdon.  

We collected nearly 200 signatures for our petition for an overground emergency discharge channel rather than the underground pipe favoured by SESRO. 

There was unanimous agreement from members of the public that any improvement in the environment round the proposed reservoir was of the utmost importance.

Mascot Bertie Bear the Bargee encouraged children and their families into the marquee to search for competition clues.  The addition of Bertie and some balloons worked a treat and one lucky prize winner received a voucher for a ride on the trip boat Dragonfly for four people.
