Promotional ImageOn Saturday 27th January, with what can be described as a crisp, bright early Spring Day, 1000s of people descended on The Oval, London, to take part in the Ultra Challenge Winter Walk… with myself included.

My name is Peggy-Sue, and in 2024, I am walking 5x 25km Ultra Challenges, in aid of the Wilts & Berks Canal Trust

Ever wondered how a canal gets Dredged?

Our latest YouTube video is available to view on our YouTube Channel.

More good news for the canal on the planning front in Swindon! This will extend the length in East Wichel right up to Croft Road, given that a short stretch between here & East Wichel, including a lock, needs constructing.

work partyThe Studley Grange footpath is now open and we are working on the towpath.

The branch will be present at the Royal Wootton Bassett Christmas Lights and Shopping Evening.

unnamed 33Don't miss out, santa's about!

It's the time of the year, where Santa joins us on the canal. Trips must be pre-booked and spaces are limited, so don't risk being turned away like these fellows who thought they could just swan in.
