The Studley Grange section between Royal Wootton Bassett and Swindon opens to members and public on 4th July.
Chair of Wilts & Berks Canal Trust, Roderick Bluh and Biffa Regional Estates Manager Nick Emery will formally open this newly restored section of the Wilts & Berks canal at a ceremony to include those who worked together to create this amazing and diverse canal and towpath environment, giving benefit to all who use it.

Nick Emery, Regional Estates Manager at Biffa, said:
“The Trust has done an excellent job, with help from key sponsors, and it’s fantastic that this section of local canal will be more accessible for members of the public to enjoy as well as helping to encourage local wildlife.”
The Trust’s flagship project at Studley Grange involved the excavation of a new canal section of 1.2km length between Chaddington Lane and Studley Grange and the creation of a new wildlife trail along the towpath.
The towpath will be open to the public from 1 pm on Wednesday 4th July for all to join in and enjoy this wonderful new part of the Wilts & Berks canal. Post Code: SN4 9QT. Grid Ref: 51. 532043 - 1.864449
