 Raising funds for the trust

Graham's Kennet & Avon Canal walk

Since retiring last year, Graham has worked with other Wilts & Berks Canal Trust (WBCT) volunteers on a few of the many tasks needed to maintain and extend the navigable sections of the canal. These have included work on Pewsham Dry Dock and hedge laying at various locations.

Further funds are required to continue their work and fulfil the aim of restoring the entire length of the canal, from Abingdon to Semington.

His walk along the 94.5 miles of the nearby Kennet & Avon canal (from Reading to Bristol) is planned to start in late August and take 7 days, although he may take a break or two along the way.

He hopes to post updates on his Justgiving page and on Facebook to chart his progress.
