1927: W J Ainsworth's talk to Bath Rotary Club on Canals

Mr. W. J. Ainsworth, of Devonshire Buildings, who addressed the Rotary Club on Tuesday on the subject of “Canals”, an important question to Bath, in view of the proposed abandonment of our own waterway, is an authority on the subject, having been for 30 years connected with the Wilts and Berks Canal, of which he was manager.

Mr. Ainsworth is familiar with all the canals in the country.
