Royalty on the canal

Nothing can better illustrate the importance attached by society to canal restoration than Her Majesty the Queen's attendance at the reopening of the Kennet & Avon Canal 30 years ago. Is it really that long since we watched this on National TV?! Of course, you don't have to be royalty to enjoy the canal; our vision is to make the canal a beautiful public space to be enjoyed by everyone.
