Kingshill Swans

Both swans still around by Kingshill; they were grooming themselves, perhaps in preparation for making babies? At least the traffic cone on their nesting site 2 years ago has been moved - thank you to whoever did so!

We'd also love to share this fantastic picture of our swans breaking through the ice during one of the recent cold spells. The picture was submitted to our January Photo competition by Julia Connell, but sadly as much as we loved it, it didn't have the right dimensions to fit in our slider.
