Bee Route En Route

We have been awarded £25,000 funding from the Underwood Trust to create a pollinator friendly route along our section of the Wilts and Berks Canal, if successful we will roll it out all the way along our Canal. Hopefully anyone reading this will already be aware that bees are under threat these days, but are essential not just to us but to the biosphere, as they pollinate most of the plants upon which we depend. So a 'bee route' is a remarkably useful thing to have, enabling bees to spread their talents. We have every intention of extending this along as much of our 70 miles as possible, starting here and now!
