Canal art demonstration Saturday 12th August
Local artist Marilyn Trew has recently created a new sign for the Trust’s trip boat operating from the landing stage at Waitrose, Wichelstowe.
Marilyn has offered to put on a demonstration of canal art painting at the Trust’s Information Centre, 1 Theatre Square, Swindon SN1 1QN (opposite Swindon Central Library) on Saturday 12th August between 11am and 3 pm.
The Information Centre will stock a range of Marilyn’s work for visitors to purchase as well as providing information on the Trust’s activities, membership options and boat trips.

Marilyn's art group, the "Stratton St Margaret Art Group", is part of the WBCT Transitions Project and they have created the art work for the 2018 WBCT calendar, on sale in September from the Trust's Information Centre and on-line.
